Claranna is helping me babysit a sweet little one year old named Alexis this afternoon.  Before she came, Claranna and I talked about keeping the baby safe by keeping all of James Legos and all the small Barbie pieces put away.

 Now I have Claranna's fine assistance with watching out for Alexis.  Claranna is going around saying, "Baby Alexis, don't put that in your mouth, okay?  Don't choke, okay?"  She's also sharing other helpful tidbits with Alexis like, "Baby Alexis... That's not a big monster, that's a cat. Okay?  Don't be scared."  It is actually quite entertaining watching my baby take care of this baby.

 

Had this little conversation while driving in the car today with Claranna:

Claranna: "I wish Jesus could turn me into a mermaid or a rockstar."
Me: "But, then you wouldn't be my little Claranna."
Claranna: (In a very dramatic voice.) "I would STILL be your Claranna, Mommy. Oh, oh, oh!!! I SEE A SPIDER MOMMY!!! Wait, it's just a pretend spider I made up."

She cracks me up!
