Happy Easter!!!

 We had a very busy, fun Easter weekend filled with Easter worship services and lots of singing for me, a few egg hunts and lots of time with family and friends.  We were blessed with lots of great moments for our memory books...  Happy Easter!!

Spring Break!!!

 I love these kids!!!  And, I love that they like to play outside in the snow just as I did as a kid.  Our snow pants, boots, hats, coats and mittens have been getting quite the workout lately.  The kids have been enjoying the fun that snow brings, but last night James was really wishing for spring.  He came and told us he can't wait for spring to get here because he wants to plant some corn and watch it grow.  Grandpa Jim should be proud!!

Snow Day Snuggling

I guess snow days are good for snuggling with your sister and brother. We are having our second snow day in less than a week. Normally I would be excited, but Mark left early this morning to fly to Michigan for work and I am stuck dealing with all this snow by myself. Maybe the kids are just resting up so they can help me shovel the 7 inches of snow. The snow is heavy and sticky, so I am hoping to convince them to roll a giant snowman with the snow that is in the driveway and then I will have less to shovel!
