Isabella Swims!

Isabella has had two weeks of swimming lessons so far this summer. The lessons are M-Th for a half hour each day and during each week, she has made a ton of progress. She has always loved time in the pool, but now I would say that she is also very comfortable in the water. She jumps right in when it is her turn and is eager to try to new things at lessons. During the first week this summer, she learned to float on her back independently. This past week, she actually progressed to some solo swimming. To say we were really proud of her is an understatement. Ella's favorite thing from this past week was gliding. She liked gliding on her front and her back. I was in awe at the end of this week's session because my baby was jumping into the deep end of the pool and swimming to the instructor who was waiting halfway across the length of the pool. The video below shows her progress from this past week.

Ella is taking private lessons from a man out in the country (not too far from you). If you are interested, e-mail me and I will give you more info. He does and awesome job with the kids. He only does summer lessons as he has an outdoor pool.
