As I type, Ella and James are snuggled together in the same bed after a big evening of waterpark fun. We decided to go to the cities a day early to have a little fun before going to the State Fair tomorrow. We are staying at the Waterpark of America, a hotel with a fairly large indoor water park. The kids had a blast going down slides. All four of us went down the family tube ride. James liked it until he got wet at the end. Mark spent a good portion of the time alternately taking the kids down a different tube slide. James and Ella were allowed on the big slides as long as they were wearing life vests and both kids loved the thrill of the slides as long as they were riding in double tube with daddy. I don't know of any of my pictures turned out... If they did, I'll have to work at getting them posted when I get home.
Tomorrow is Mark's birthday and we will celebrate at the State Fair enjoying the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the Great Minnesota Get Together. Can't wait for the fried cheese on a stick!!!
